for those of you who don't know me, my name is lori denae, and i have chosen to write my own biography for this reincarnation of my website.we all write our own life stories, and so it shall be here.

i am working on my second record, which is currently titled "serendeputy" and will stay that unless i change my mind again. evan and i are recording the songs as we write them, in an effort to preserve the creativity and ideas. the first song we finished, "life review", tells the story of someone forced to answer for their actions after they die. then we recorded "silver chord", followed by "unwound", and most recently "everything leaves" and "overnight". these songs are very different from my last record. musically, they represent evan's growing appreciation for the marriage between electronic and organic elements. lyrically, they represent my odd fascination with death, afterlife, the spiritual world, and of course, serendipity. i hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy writing and recording them.
